Carried in WavesCarried in Waves is a short story competition for radio organised by University College Cork. The brief is wide: the story can be on any subject, written in any style, by a writer of any age and of any nationality, living anywhere in the world. It does have to to be in English though and no longer than 3,000 words.

1ST PRIZE €300 | 2ND PRIZE €200 | 3RD PRIZE €100

The entry fee for one story is ten euro

Deadline: September 30

A shortlist of forty stories will be recorded for broadcast and performed by one actor who will be chosen from a panel of six which will represent all voices and ages. Copyright remains the property of the writer.
