And while you focus on yourself and your family toady, may you remember that building a list or wall of people who inspire you, will help you to be better and to create greater work. Welcome to another week of writing. Like with last week, this week I will give you a scenario and you will work with it. Take as much time as you need, use the pictures for reference but for the most part write as much as you can. Have a good writing session.

W.P. # 217 The girl wanted to swim. She sat near the pool and waited, like her mother had asked, for the others to arrive. When they started to trickled in, she was plagued with only one thought, how was she going to explain to the others how she had lost her leg.
As you go through your week, try to imagine what it would be like to know that you have given it your all. Brené Brown in her book Daring Greatly, extolled Teddy Roosevelt’s 1910 speech, from it she points out, “It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena…” When Bacall talks about winning and fighting here, it brings me back to that quote, the person doing something, and taking action because that is what counts. What matters…go forth and make your mark.
Welcome to another week of writing. This week, we will switch it up a bit. I will present you with and idea and you will run with it. See where it takes you. I have always liked the thought that ideas are free, and many of us are familiar with stories, movies or series that run in the vein of this idea. Here is your turn to try it. I hope you find it interesting and write something intriguing. As for me, like you, I can’t wait to see what happens.
